Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of resolutionclaims.org and any services provided by Resolution Claims Consulting, LLC. By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
About Resolution Claims Consulting
Resolution Claims Consulting, LLC is a public insurance adjusting firm with representation across 18 U.S. states (firm licensed in 4 states; founder individually licensed in 18). We represent property insurance policyholders in the documentation, presentation, and negotiation of insurance claims with their insurance carriers.
We are not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice or representation in litigation. Public insurance adjusting is a regulated profession governed by state-specific licensing requirements.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and the legal owner, authorized representative, or named insured on the property and policy in question to engage our services. Service availability is limited to states where Resolution Claims Consulting and/or William J. Addis hold active public adjuster licensure.
Services
Our services may include, depending on the engagement:
- Review and interpretation of insurance policy provisions;
- Inspection and documentation of property damage;
- Preparation of itemized scope of loss and supporting estimates;
- Communication and negotiation with the insurance carrier;
- Coordination with third-party experts (engineers, contractors, forensic specialists) where appropriate.
The specific scope of services is set forth in a written representation agreement signed by both parties.
Fees
Resolution Claims Consulting works on a contingency basis. We are paid solely from amounts recovered on your behalf, as set forth in a written representation agreement. Specific contingency percentages and fee structures are governed by applicable state law and the terms of the executed agreement. No fee is owed if no recovery is obtained.
No Guarantee of Outcome
Past results do not guarantee or predict future outcomes. Each insurance claim is unique, and the recovery in any given matter depends on policy language, the nature and extent of damage, the carrier's response, and other factors outside our control. We make no representation, warranty, or guarantee of any specific recovery, settlement amount, or outcome.
No Attorney-Client Relationship
Use of this website, communication with our firm, and engagement of our services does not create an attorney-client relationship. Resolution Claims Consulting does not provide legal advice. If your matter requires legal representation, we recommend consulting a licensed attorney.
